Additional Comments: The Research Internship in Science & Engineering (RISE) program provides academically motivated rising high school seniors with the opportunity to conduct university-level research. Under the mentorship of our distinguished faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students, RISE students work on a research project designed by their professor forty hours a week for six weeks. Students gain valuable technical and analytical skills, as well as insights into the scientific process.
