Western Washington University, Environmental Health & Safety Department is seeking a Laboratory Safety Consultant who will be responsible for developing and implementing major components of the lab safety program.

Under general supervision by the Environmental Health & Safety Director, the Laboratory Safety Consultant is responsible for developing and implementing WWU’s Laboratory Safety Program. This position will be responsible for providing laboratory risk assessments, inspecting WWU’s laboratory facilities, equipment, and operations, to improve safety in University laboratories and ensure compliance with institutional, state, and federal safety laws, regulations, codes, and standards.
