Additional Comments: Seeking volunteer academic mentors to support Boston’s public schools students by providing them with focused, individualized, in-school mentoring. Our mentors are people like you and me, devoting time from their busy lives to help our young people succeed. They come from all walks of life, racial and ethnic origins, and levels of education and experience. Academic mentors work one-on-one or with a small group of 2-4 students for an hour a week during the school day.
