Hope Scholarship Program
Hope Scholarships are given annually to highly motivated students with demonstrated interest in biomedical, biopharmaceutical, or other science-related fields. The goal of the award is to alleviate some of the financial burden students encounter as they pursue their education.
If you believe you meet the eligibility requirements and would like to be considered for a Hope Scholarship, please send your resume and a letter explaining why you are a good fit for the program based on the criteria below. These materials should be submitted by email to Khaliah Noel-Gibson.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for a Hope Scholarship, the following criteria must be met:
- Students have recognized potential as leaders and scholars
- Students are actively involved with BSCP
- Students are enrolled in college, medical, graduate, or professional school for the upcoming academic year
Benefits
Recipients receive a financial award of $7,500, paid over a two-year period, to support their educational pursuits.
Hope Scholarships are awarded to four to six BSCP students each year in October. More than 130 students have been recognized as Hope Scholars since 1998.
