Laptop Fund
Requests may be submitted to the Laptop Fund at any time. Applications are reviewed monthly. Please contact us if this is an urgent, time-sensitive request.
BSCP’s Laptop Fund offers refurbished laptops to active BSCP students in need. Applicants must be unable to purchase or replace a computer on their own due to financial constraints. This program is available thanks to Cytiva, a BSCP sponsor and partner company.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for a grant, students must:
- Have attended one or more of our in-person programs since 2023
- Reside and be enrolled in an academic program in the United States or Puerto Rico
- Have not received support from this fund in the past
Distribution at the sole discretion of the Biomedical Science Careers Program. While supplies last.
Application Requirements
As part of the application process, please submit a formal letter (in the format shown in this example with your contact information, salutation/greeting, body of letter, and closing) including the following information:
- Statement of request explaining need and financial hardship
- Explanation of how this laptop will support your educational goals
